Promoting the timeless values of “simple living and high thinking”, the Walk for Peace is the perfect antidote to the trials and tribulations of 21st century living… and we want you to join in!
An ecstatic, colourful and diverse party of singing, dancing monks will be taking part in a 6-day celebration of life that will pass through the streets of Thanet, Herne Bay, Whitstable and Canterbury, aided by two live, working oxen.
On the way we will be sharing a non-sectarian, universal message of goodwill & a joyful, alternative lifestyle based on Lord Krishna’s timeless teachings of yoga, meditation, animal protection and service to others.
The travelling festival, otherwise known as “Padayatra”, is a wonderful, unique and inspiring attraction for all the family.
Please come and join us at the following locations for a festival of peace in your home town!
